“Repeat business comes from good service and practices”

We’d like to think when we are living in a higher vibrational energy we will be protected from negative experiences, but this is not always the case.

In the business world of provider and consumer, the universe is constantly testing us to see if we are living empowered and strong, or allowing ourselves to be walked over and taken advantage of by those who have turned from the light.

So after some testing business experiences of my own, I feel compelled to share a very clear message on what is appropriate behaviour in the business world and how important it is we stand up and do not tolerate poor business practice.

It is ethical and honest to ensure clients know what they will expect from a businesses service and ‘ALL” costs involved with the service.

It is not OK to quote and then say there will be an added cost.

It is poor business practice and breaching legal requirements to quote a price and then after the work is done notify clients of additional costs.

There must be a clear written quote with all costs involved and expected service.

If additional work or another service is needed (which genuinely couldn’t be identified at time of quoting), and additional costs added on, then the service provider must notify you of the additional work and costs required and receive your written before proceeding.

As the consumer you have a right to refuse the additional cost and cease, but you are still legally required to pay for whatever work has already been completed.

Be aware there is a shift in the Business World in regards to what is considered “allowable” practice. Don’t let them get away with what I have described as this practice is dishonest and misleading.

Consumer Protection will give you clarity on what is best practice and legal when dealing with Business’s providing services. Before paying additional costs always consult Consumer Protection or the relevant governing body.

The only way to stop this practice is to teach businesses what is appropriate business activity and let them know if you are dissatisfied with their service.

Poor Management and failure to provide honest service is one of the biggest causes of Businesses falling over.
